Calculation of the score

The calculation of the score is the sum of the scores below:
  • Predict the exact score per match;
  • Predict the final and winner.

Calculation of the prediction

The score per match is calculated as follows:
Right winner (also in case of tie) 5 points

Furthermore you can earn bonus points for each predictions:
Correct score 10 points
Correct score home team 2 points
Correct score away team 2 points

Calculation example:
Match Result Prediction Points
Netherlands - Italy 2 - 1 2 - 1 19 points
1 - 1 2 points
1 - 0 5 points
0 - 3 0 points

Note! Score above 10 goals are not accepted. If you for example predict 10-0 and the actual score is 11-0, the 10-0 will also be counted as correct.

Bonus points: predict the final, winner and number of yellow and red cards

By predicting rightly the winner of the quarter final, semi final and final, you will get the following bonus points:
Final Bonuspoints
Through to the quarterfinal 10 points
Through to the semi final 25 points
Through to the final 50 points
Winner Euro Cup 2012 100 points

Note!
  • Before the start of the tournament the country predictions have to be completed.
    These can not be changed subsequently.
  • You only get points when the home en away position of the countries are predicted correctly. This you predict the first and second position of the country in the pool phase.

There are also bonus points for predicting correctly the total number of yellow and red cards of the tournament:

Note! Before the start of the tournament the prediction of the amount of cards have to be completed. These can not be changed subsequently.

General

  • You can make a prediction up to 10 minutes before the match kicks off, with the exeption of predicting the Winners of a group, quarter/semi final and final match. These have to be predicted before start of the tournament.
  • The score after the duration of the match, including extra time and excluding possible penalty shootout counts as the final score of a played match.
  • With the score of a participant pool, the number of points attained by the participants is divided by the number of participants in the pool. When one of the participants of a pool does not make any predictions it therefore consequences on the total score of a pool.
  • Note: in the event of an equal score the league table position is shared.
